Headquartered in Long Beach, California, Obagi Medical Products is a privately
held pharmaceutical company that develops, manufactures, markets and sells
proprietary prescription skin care Systems. The Systems are designed to prevent

Skin Care line System products were created in 1988 by Dr. Zein E. Obagi and other
leading experts. Dr. Obagi and his partners began manufacturing and selling the
products and nine years later the company's name was changed to Obagi Medical
Products, Inc. with Dr. Obagi serving as the company's Chief Medical Officer and
